Meet Chef Carlos Salazar
Carlos Salazar cooks with precision and purpose, drawing on deep French technique to create dishes that go beyond flavor and into feeling. As head chef, he has earned a Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand and landed the restaurant among New York City’s five best lunch destinations. Every plate he sends out is built to evoke something, turning familiar ingredients into experiences people carry with them.

Oh the Terrace, what a surreal experience. We have been coming here for years and the food is superb and exceptional, more so than ever. It’s the perfect spot for a romantic date night with a special someone or just with yourself. It’s fancy, over the top, decadent, incredible – but they make you feel also right at home, if home was as fancy as the Terrace. I did a chef’s tasting with a friend and dear lord, it was amazing! A must when in Edgartown, the space is a photographers dream because the light is just beautiful and you can capture all the dishes in such a spectacular way!

A Note on the Dining Experience
We aim to provide every guest with an exceptional and relaxing dining experience. To help preserve the elegant setting of The Terrace, we kindly ask:
Dress Code
Please dress with the setting in mind. Jackets are preferred (but not required), and we’re happy to provide one if needed. We ask that guests refrain from wearing t-shirts, beachwear, or athletic wear.
Private Events or Groups
To preserve the intimate nature of our dining room, we are unable to accommodate parties larger than six guests. At this time, we do not host large gatherings, weddings, or private events.
Children
To maintain a serene and intimate atmosphere, we welcome well-mannered guests aged 12 and older. Thank you for your understanding—and for helping us make every evening at The Terrace a special one.
